Breastfeeding Drop In Day with Dr Robyn Thompson

Our very first breastfeeding drop-in-day, offering a helping hand to breastfeeding mothers, was held by Dr Robyn at Cleveland in Queensland, on Wednesday December 2nd.

A small group of women had the opportunity to meet with Dr Robyn in person, where she sat with them individually to observe a full breastfeed and offered help and guidance.

Alongside her team of volunteers and senior members of her Breastfeeding Academy, Dr Robyn shared her breastfeeding expertise and gentle encouragement throughout the day.

“When Hud and I got to meet Dr Robyn, this woman is amazing, caring, welcoming, beautiful and an absolute angel. She’s the grandmother I never had. Because of Dr Robyn I have been able to successfully breastfeed Hudson for 5 months and was able to advocate what I did and did not want or consent to during my labour and delivery too.”  ~ Emma McCracken (pictured below)

Mothers were able to meet, share their breastfeeding experiences and talk about Dr Robyn’s life changing methods. 

Dr Robyn is on a mission to double world breastfeeding rates one breastfeed at a time. The signature Thompson Method breastfeeding programs are helping thousands of women daily.  Next year we hope to hold more of these amazing drop-in-days in various locations around Australia.
