thethompsonmethod.com is a website which contains information designed to assist women who experience difficulty breastfeeding. The information is contained in and made available via, various audio and audio visual materials and this information is in whole and in part referred to as “The Thompson Method”.
The Thompson Method was devised by Dr Robyn Thompson who is a Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife and was awarded a PhD for her research into why so many women were experiencing painful nipple trauma. The Thompson Method has become widely known among women and other health professionals as well and a number of hospitals are implementing her method to improve breastfeeding outcomes for mothers and babies.
TERMS OF USE
The following terms of use apply to the methods used, and information and opinions expressed in written, audio and audio visual formats referred to in this website and in any other ancillary material directly linked to this website.
In using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms of use. If you do not accept these terms of use you must refrain from using the website. These terms of use must be read in conjunction with any other applicable terms and conditions governing the use of this website.
MEMBERSHIP
(A) To enable you to access certain information offered on this website, you must become a member. To become a member, you must complete your registration details in the manner described on the website.
(B) You agree to ensure that your registration details are true and accurate at all times. Specifically, you must notify us of any change to the registration details as originally supplied.
(C) You agree to pay for our services in the manner specified on the website. Payments whether monthly or yearly are recurring until you (or we) terminate your membership. You are free to do this at any time from your dashboard once logged into the site.
(D) We reserve the right to terminate your membership at any time if you breach these terms and conditions. You may terminate your membership at any time. We will not provide any refund, credit or rebate for subscription fees paid by you for the period of termination.

REFUND POLICY
THE THOMPSON METHOD BREASTFEEDING PROGRAM
A full refund will be granted based on our 14 Day Money Back Guarantee, providing your request is within 14 days of the purchase date. Please email us at bfc@thethompsonmethod.com and please allow up to 10 days for the funds to appear in your account.
When a full refund is granted, access to the online education will be revoked and you will be removed as a member of the Breastfeeding Club.
We understand that women may join our program at different stages in their journey. Please be aware that we do not provide a 100% guarantee of breastfeeding success. Doing so would be unrealistic and unprofessional, given the unique circumstances of every mother and baby. Refund requests outside the 14 day window will not be granted for change of mind, early cessation of breastfeeding, miscarriage, stillbirth, unique medical conditions or change of circumstances.
If you purchase our program and are experiencing challenges, we encourage you to join the Breastfeeding Club and reach out to the Admin Team for guidance and support. Your purchase of the Breastfeeding Program, provides lifetime access to the online program and lifetime membership to the Breastfeeding Club.
A BREASTFEEDING RESCUE
Due to the time and expertise involved on behalf of an individual Thompson Method Breastfeeding Practitioner, refunds will not be granted on a Breastfeeding Rescue once a video consultation has taken place.
Refunds will not be granted to 'NO-SHOWS'. If you need to reschedule, we respectfully ask that you reach out in advance (minimum of 24 hours notice) so that our team can assist with finding a suitable day/time to suit your time zone. If you cancel your session within 24 hours of your scheduled time, a refund may be requested less a cancellation feel of $110 AUD. If you do not schedule an appointment within 14 days of purchasing the Rescue, refunds will not be granted.
We encourage you to schedule your follow up session (included in the fee) following your initial consultation.
We also encourage you to make the most of your 14 days in the Premium Support Group to ask questions, seek guidance and support over this time.
THE BREASTFEEDING ACADEMY
Refunds will not be granted for Breastfeeding Academy enrolments once classes have commenced. Enrolment in the Breastfeeding Academy is valid for 12 months to allow for additional time to complete the Academy if required. Enrolments may be deferred upon application. Please email bfc@thethompsonmethod.com to discuss further.
THE BEAUTIFUL BREASTFEEDING PROGRAM
As with the Thompson Method Breastfeeding Program, refund requests will be approved within 14 days after purchase of The Beautiful Breastfeeding Program. However, if weekly sessions have been scheduled, refunds will only be provided if requested prior to the first session. Refunds will not be granted to NO-SHOWS.

SPLIT PAYMENT OPTION
To help reduce the financial stress when it comes to investing in the Thompson Method Breastfeeding Program, our split payment option allows you to make the purchase over 2 monthly payments.
The Thompson Method Breastfeeding Program
The option still remains for you to request a refund within 14 days (see above), however once 14 days has lapsed, you agree not to cancel the 2nd payment of your split payment arrangement
A Breastfeeding Rescue
Due to the time and expertise involved on behalf of an individual health practitioner, the split payment option is not available on a Breastfeeding Rescue. We encourage you to make the most of your 14 days Email Support to ask questions, seek guidance and support from your Practitioner.
SMS MARKETING
If you opt-in for SMS Marketing, message frequency will be low and may vary from time to time. Msg & data rates may apply. You can unsubscribe from SMS Marketing at any time by replying STOP to the SMS or MMS message or clicking the unsubscribe link in the message itself.
Mobile Terms of Service

The The Thompson Method mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by The Thompson Method (“The Thompson Method”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
By consenting to The Thompson Method’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of The Thompson Method through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).
You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with The Thompson Method. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.
We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.
You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to Dr Robyn or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other The Thompson Method mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.
The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
