Carmen is a Hispanic, faith-driven mother of four serving families in Northern Illinois with a deep commitment to dignity, education, and compassionate care during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Her own experience navigating motherhood with limited support shaped her passion for ensuring women feel heard, informed, and supported during one of the most vulnerable seasons of life. As a Certified Thompson Method Breastfeeding Educator, Carmen provides gentle, evidence-based breastfeeding education to expecting and postpartum mothers, both locally around the Rockford area and through virtual group sessions. She supports families in preparing for breastfeeding during pregnancy, helping them avoid common complications and build confidence before their baby arrives.
