Maggi is a mother to three boys, a farmer’s wife, a Doula and a fierce believer in a woman’s right to birth and mother on her own terms. Living on a farm in country Victoria with her husband, boys and many animals, she first discovered the Thompson Method in 2020 after excruciating breastfeeding pain left her desperate for answers. Meeting Dr Robyn changed the course of her life. Because of her, Maggi completely shifted the way she thinks about breastfeeding, motherhood and birth — and she would never have become a Doula otherwise. If she can stop just one woman from experiencing the breastfeeding pain she went through, her mission is complete. Today, as a Thompson Method Breastfeeding Educator, she supports mothers with evidence-based education, compassion and respect.
