Dr Robyn Thompson spent 50 years as a midwife
25 years on the ward ~ 25 years at home.
As a breastfeeding specialist, she observed breastfeeding complications being experienced by women discharged from hospital that she was not observing with women who gave birth at home. Rachael has over 25 years experience as a registered nurse and midwife. She worked closely with Dr Robyn and the team to create the curriculum and support networks of The Breastfeeding Academy in 2021.
Rachael is online with mothers and babies every day offering guidance and support with breastfeeding.
She is the custodian of Dr Robyn's life's work and takes great pride in guiding the next generation of Thompson Method Practitioners and Educators.
