NEXT TMBP PRACTITIONER COHORT SCHEDULED FOR: [DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED]
WHO IS THIS PATHWAY FOR?
The busy hospital midwife or IBCLC
You are committed to the hospital system and not looking to leave it. But you have a sense that something is missing, in the advice you're giving, in the outcomes you're seeing, in the gap between hospital policy and what the woman in front of you actually needs. The CPD program gives you the language, the knowledge, and the clinical framework to show up differently in the ward, particularly in the early postnatal period.
The private practice midwife or IBCLC
You are in or moving toward private practice and need strong foundational knowledge now, while you build toward the full TMBP certification when the timing is right. Â Whether you're experienced or a recent Midwife graduate, there's something to learn.
The CPD program is also the natural first step toward full TMBP certification. Many of our TMBP cohort graduates began here. The bridge between CPD and full certification is already built.
Pathway Eligibility
Applicants must be registered Midwives or registered Nurses, IBCLCs or Neonatal nurses currently (or recently) working with mothers and babies.

"As a healthcare provider Iâm very scientifically minded and the emphasis on the anatomy really made sense to me.
I was pleasantly surprised about how the online modules and weekly calls in the Academy were structured. I was able to work through them in my own time and catch up with any calls I wasnât able to make in person. Whatâs even more amazing is the support I have received from the senior team since being certified. I feel so blessed to be part of such an incredible, unique group of women and professionals. Itâs truly been an amazing journey so far"

"The Thompson Method provided me with education and guidance for my pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding that none of my medical providers (OBs, Nurses, Lactation Consultants, etc) did. With what I learned from The Thompson Method, I had the confidence to advocate for myself and my baby through the entire process. As a result, I have had the perfect experience, the experience I had always imagined and dreamed of."

Breastfeeding went from one of the most stressful times in our house to one of the most coveted, peaceful times and everyone was able to relax. Now my daughter is 19 months old and we're still going strong!"
